Annicke Mouse Doll
Annicke likes to wake up really early and search the meadow for new mushrooms. Unlike a human, she can tell by scent whether they are poisonous or delicious. She picks a bunch and leaves them on Ella Toad's doorstep, then goes about her business. Then, when Ella wakes up around noon she makes a delicious mushroom omelet, which is Annicke's lunch and Ella's breakfast.
Annicke measures 14" tall. She is made of light brown organic cotton fleece, with a hand-embroidered face and striped cotton lining on her floppy ears. She is stuffed with washable fiberfill, so you can hand wash her if she gets grubby.
Annicke comes wearing a pink organic cotton romper. It has a super-fine Liberty of London binding at the collar. It's removable so Annicke can share and trade clothes with the other Hazel Village animals.
Your Annicke will traipse your way in a reusable cotton bag, with a lavender and mint sachet tucked inside.

Hazel Village started in 2010 as a creative project by maker and designer Jan Van Cleef. One day she made a toy that she would have liked as a child out of scraps in the front room of her apartment in Brooklyn. She started making more for friends and started listing her dolls on Etsy, each with its own little outfit and back story. In the years since, she has expanded her business by finding responsible makers and never sacrificing heirloom quality at a reasonable price. Hazel Village is named after the American Hazelnut tree: a source of delicious nuts, magical divining rods, useful twigs for basketry, and food for caterpillars.
