New Osmunda Necklace

In the Victorian era, flowers were designated specific meanings in order to communicate messages that could not otherwise be vocalized. The History+Industry Floriography Collection draws from this code.
Osmunda is code for Dreams.
  • Made with Chartreuse Jade, Cream Wood, Ceramic, Neon Glass, Neon Yellow Resin Faux Rhinestones
  • Approximately 17" at its shortest strand
  • Approximately 2.5" thick
  • Handmade in Brooklyn, NY

Established in 2011 by designer Irene Wood, History+Industry was founded with the desire to translate ancient artifact to powerful contemporary jewelry. Wood's background in painting informs the rich color and textural architecture of the bold, mixed-material statement pieces. Metals, semi-precious stones, plastic and dyed or painted wood beads are collected locally in New York and hand-built in Wood's Brooklyn studio.
