Tribe Alive

Figure Block Print

$118.00

When Tribe Alive was first introduced to this unbelievable tradition years ago, they began inserting it into many of their collections.

On their most recent trip to India, Tribe Alive sat at the table of a 5th generation block-printer who helped interpret and bring to life the original artwork by Tribe Alive's designer--now a part of their art print collection.

These prints are a labor of love and a collaboration that Tribe Alive is incredibly proud of and excited to bring to your homes.

The figure print is an abstract interpretation of the human form.

  • 15″ W X 20″ H
  • Recycled handmade cotton paper
  • Hand block printed by master artisan in Jaipur, India
  • Eco-friendly and non-toxic dye
  • Art work design original to Tribe Alive

Tribe Alive empowers women around the world to find financial freedom through safe and meaningful employment at living wages. As a company, we measure success by impact, not profits. Our model is moving the fashion industry toward a more humane approach, where the Earth and the maker are valued equally to the customer.

Tribe Alive believes in slow fashion and meaningful consumption. From apparel to accessories, they design timeless pieces in classic silhouettes and high quality materials. Years from now, their clothes should live in your closet, not a landfill.

Tribe Alive also invests in the people behind their products. The future is female. Tribe Alive is proud to support women artisans in five countries — Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, India and the United States. Their artisans are paid living wages, they pay their artisans on time, and understand that families depend on this income in order to meet basic needs.

At Tribe Alive, sustainability is at the core of their mission. Tribe Alive's manufacturing process is free of toxic chemicals and dyes. They never use synthetic fibers, which are made from plastic and do not biodegrade even in landfills.
