Laude The Label

High Rise Pant - Bone

$188.00

LAUDE the label's take on a wardrobe classic – Wide Leg Denim. We love this pant for its effortless fit, timeless details and earth-loving upcycled denim textile. Handcrafted with care and precision to be worn for years to come.

Pro tip: These pants are 100% upcycled denim & have very little stretch with a high waist, so we recommend sizing up one full size when ordering--especially if you're in between sizes.

This is a full length pant, but depending on your leg length, this can potentially fit like a crop pant (as seen on Savannah).

  • 100% Up-Cycled Denim
  • Handmade in Guatemala
  • Machine wash cold on delicate cycle, lay flat to dry
    • Meet the Model:

LAUDE the Label began as one woman’s way of doing her part to end family separation due to the economic insecurity facing women all across the world. Founder, Carly Burson, put her years of fashion-industry experience to work, designing goods that would help makers in artisan communities access the global marketplace and create sustainability where there had been vulnerability and insecurity.

What began as a group of eight women in 2014 has grown to a worldwide community of over 518 artisans. Though they have grown, they have always prioritized the quality, health & sustainability of their partnerships over the quantity of them.

Carly’s vision for minimalist designs in high quality, eco-friendly materials that can be worn for years has remained central to LAUDE the Label’s design philosophy from the beginning. Each year, new efforts in environmental consciousness and new strides in holistic employment of women across the world bring us closer toward our vision of honoring the earth & maker equally to the consumer.

LAUDE the Label is proud to support women artisans in five countries — Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, India, and Peru. Today, 85 percent of the world’s garment workers are women. Yet they are drastically underpaid, overworked and trapped in a cycle of poverty. LAUDE the Label offers a hopeful alternative, employing and empowering women around the world.

And while the company genuinely loves to support other women, they also know from research and experience that women are the key to eradicating global poverty. Women comprise more than three-quarters of our workforce, and the effect is exponential. When women are empowered to earn an income, they reinvest 90 percent of that income back into health, education, food, children and their communities, compared to 30 percent for their male counterparts.

This is why LAUDE the label exists, and it drives everything they do.
