Kooka and Kora Puzzle by Chloe Joyce
Chloé Joyce’s scene of lush reflection brings together figurative form with a tropical landscape. A small reminder of how wonderful it is every time we’re able to connect with nature.
Chloé Joyce is an Australia-based illustrator who has been working in the creative industry for five years. Primarily a digital artist, her work is inspired by human emotions, everyday life, and her personal relationship with nature. With her dog Lulu and a multitude of plants to keep her company, Joyce works out of a small and sunny studio in Sydney’s inner west neighborhood of Newton, creating work that straddles the line between the intimate and the ordinary. “I hope my illustrations will draw a smile from your face,” she says, “albeit a melancholic one.”
"This piece focuses on connection and empathy. Australia has suffered a devastating year. We need to focus our energy on connecting and caring for our incredibly vulnerable and endangered wildlife." — Chloé Joyce

Ordinary Habit was founded with a simple purpose: to create artful objects, designed to be both fun and functional, that would help people access habitual moments of calm and connectedness. Founders Teresa and Echo Hopkins, a mother-daughter duo, believed in the transformative nature of something perfectly ordinary: daily play. They set out to create a debut product that would be simple to use, beautiful to look at, and easy to transport: a series of limited edition jigsaw puzzles that would function as both reason to gather together with friends and as an escape for individuals in search of quietude.
Ordinary Habit is building a company focused on the belief that cultivating mindfulness is essential to bring about indelible change. In continued support of their mission, they will be donating on a monthly basis to groups that support the emotional and mental wellness of Black and marginalized communities. As a start, Ordinary Habit donates to The Loveland Foundation, which brings opportunity and healing to Black women and girls.
