“Our latest collection is in collaboration with leather artist and footwear designer Samuel Falzone.
Samuel’s work, his interest in nostalgia, and his reinterpretation of handcraft processes, has long left an impression upon our founder, Altarik Banks.
The pair have created a collection that reimagines Homa’s essential ceramic ware, with an introduction of vegetable tanned leather. You’ll catch the two swapping forms entirely, and reinterpreting in their respective material. At times, they’ve chosen to elevate each other’s original work with ceramic and leather additions.
We’re calling this collaboration a homage. It’s us giving form to a handful of the many ideas that thrive between us, and equally as important, it’s us reflecting on the experiences of working beside each other, as designers and as friends.”
